MODERN COMPTON UNION is the student activity center
at the State College of Washington. The six-story struc-
ture, which was dedicated in 1952, contains dining
rooms, fountain, ballroom, meeting rooms, offices, post
office, barber shop and extensive games, recreation and
crafts facilities.
