POSTCARD RATE #PC0032 UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA MOUNT HAMILTON LICK OBSERVATORY ELEVATION 4213 FEET 1284 METERS Dome lights illuminate the Lick 36" (left) and Shane 120" (right) telescopes in this view from Kepler Peak. Soon the lights will be extinguished, and telescopes and domes will rotate toward the first objects of the night. Observing has begun at the Nickel 40" Reflector in the smaller dome just left of mid-center.
