The 3c Children's Stamp with theme of "Friendship - The Key to World Peace" receives First Day of Issue release at Washington, DC, on December 15, 1956. Stamp is 0.84 by 1.44 inches in dimension, arranged horizontally, printed by rotary process, electric-eye perforated and issued in sheets of 50. Color is blue. Even if bearing a stamp on other side, this card must not be mailed unless bearing two cents postage on this side
