HALL TABLE AND CHAIRS. The Queen's
Dolls' House is constructed to scale of one inch to a
foot. So exactly is this carried out that the rooms
and their contents look in the pictures like real
rooms and real furniture, and do not show how di-
minutive they are. The Hall Table is of mahogany
with Lapis Lazuli top. It is three inches high from
the floor. On the backs of the chairs, which are in
the style of the William & Mary period (end of
17th Century) can be seen the Royal Coat of Arms.
