The new Fishing Bridge, completed in mid-
season, 1937, across the Yellowstone River
near Yellowstone Lake Outlet, is a few yards
downstream from the site of the first cele-
brated Fishing Bridge built in 1901 under the
direction of Captain M. H. Chittenden of the
Corps of Engineers of the United States Army.
