| Experts and engineers have come from all parts of the country and from Europe to see the bridge the Santa Fe has recently completed at Sibley, Mo. The new bridge was built on enlarged piers of the old structure and the old bridge removed without delaying traffic a single minute, a feat which, considering the large and heavy construction, marks an epoch in recent engineering achievement. The new bridge is three times as heavy as the old one, is over 4,000 feet long and cost a million and a quarter dollars. |
