Additional Details:
Built in 1842 for the use of Queen Adelaide, by a London coachbuilder, with the underframe constructed at Euston Works. The vehicle is similar to the first-class carriages of the London and Birmingham Railway, except for the bed arrangement in the boot and the peculiar shape of the half compartment at one end. This vehicle is preserved at the National Railway Museum, York.
