Now a State Memorial - Indiana's first Capitol, built in 1812, at a cost of $1,500. It became the seat of the Territorial Government when the Territorial Capital was moved from Vincennes to Corydon in 1813. When Indiana became a state in 1816, this building was chosen as the State Capitol.
