Description:
With the addition of the front towers the Archabbey Church will be one of the finest specimens of Romanesque architecture in the country. The cornerstone was laid in 1892 and thirteen years were spent in construction. To the right is the statue of Archabbot Boniface Wimmer, the founder of St. Vincent-the oldest and largest Benedictine abbey in the United States.

Lake St. Vincent covers fourteen acres, having a circumference of 4,400 feet an a maximum depth of five feet except at the diving pits. It was constructed by the alumni of the College in 1920. Behind the boathouse is the Grist mille where the flour for the famous St. Vincent bread is made.
