WAWONA TREE
The famous Wawona Tunnel Tree is in the
Mariposa Grove of Big Trees, a pleasant drive
of 36 miles from the hotels and camps in Yose-
mite Valley. It is 227 feet tall, and 90 feet in i
circumference at the base. The hole large enough
for passenger vehicles to pass through is 26 feet
