COUNTY COURTHOUSE
ORANGEBURG, S. C.
Orangeburg County, named for William, Prince or Orange,
was first settled in the 1730's, Orangeburg City grew
at the intersection of two Indian paths into a tremendous
trade center. The county is now one of the finest agri-
cultural counties in the south and once grew more cotton
than any other county in the world.
