MILL located at Pepperell, Alabama, on U. S. Highway
29 is the Pepperell (Alabama) Division of the PEPPERELL
MANUFACTURING COMPANY. The trees have grown so
large in the 25 years since this mill was established, that
only a portion of the Cotton Mill can be seen in this
picture. It is here that the famous "Lady Pepperell"
Fine Combed Percale Sheets and Cases are made, as well
as other fabrics for industrial and work clothing uses.
