Winslow, Arizona, was the terminus of the
present Santa Fe Ry. more than 50 years
ago as the line pressed westward. It is still
an important division point as well as having
a landing field for transcontinental planes,
and is a busy modern little city.
Winslow is a gateway to the Navajo Reser-
vation and the Hopi villages which are easily
reached from here.
