This view shows the famous Bartholdi Fountain covered with ice, located in the Botanical Gardens. It is the work of the French sculptor, Auguste Bartholdi, famed for his Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. This fountain was exhibited and greatly admired at the Philadelphia Centennial in 1876.
