LIMERICK GENERATING STATION
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA.
Artist's conception of the nuclear-fueled Lime-
rick Generating Station which when completed
will produce more than 2,000,000 kilowatts of
electric power for Southeast Pennsylvania. Two
large hyperbolic cooling towers have been de-
signed to preserve the thermal water quality of
the Schuylkill River, assuring no detrimental
effect on fish or other aquatic life.
The station will be owned and operated by
Philadelphia Electric Company.
