Thank you for those many nice comments you make about
the Pennant Cafeteria and Pennant food.
For 22 years, since 1919, it has been and always will be the
policy of Pennant's to serve the most tasty and delicious food
in a pleasant and delightful atmosphere by a helpful and
cordial personnel.
The Pennant Cafeteria is air conditioned throughout. We have
the most modern kitchen in the middle west. Our steam
table is 80 feet long and it is made of stainless steel through-
out.
Food is kept in electric refrigerators which is the best for
preserving meat, vegetables, fresh fruit, etc.
All of our meats are choice cuts carefully selected. All
chickens are milk-fed assuring the very best quality.
All dishes and glassware are washed in a special chemical
compound of a chlorine solution an added protection for
our patrons.
The Pennant Cafeteria has a seating capacity of 360, with
two private rooms, the Rose Room which will accommodate
60, and the Green Room 25, and these can be reserved for
private parties, banquets, etc.
If this is your first visit to St. Joseph, tarry with us for a day
or two. Visit the many historical spots see the Pony
Express barn still standing as in the days when it was a
starting point for the Pony Express California bound with
mail.
