126—THE CATHEDRAL OF ST. FRANCIS,
SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO
Situated at the head of San Francisco St.,
the Cathedral dates back to the years 1711-
1714. The site was formerly occupied by the
church built by Fray Alonzo Benavides, which
was destroyed during the Pueblo Rebellion of
1680.
