Here at the northern end of San Francisco Bay over
3,000 tons of Hawaiian cane sugars are refined daily
and sold as the familiar "C and H Pure Cane Sugar" in
the western half of the United States. More than 1,500
employees at this modern plant process about three-
fourths of Hawaii's annual million-ton crop of raw sugar.
