The BATTLEFIELD SOUVENIR SHOP is the
"Inexpensive shop of the West," operated by
Mary Jane Williams, who started the shop as
a hobby in 1945 selling handmade novelties
made during the winter months. This friendly
shop serves refreshments (good drinking wa-
ter), and sells unusual souvenirs and special
gifts. Mrs. Williams likes to visit with the
tourist and likes to make them feel at ease,
she personally fills promptly all mail orders,
and answers all letters. She has other hob-
biests sell their handmade novelties in her
shop.
