This fine mountain park provides picnicking and camp-
ing facilities in the community of Idyllwild plus primi-
tive camping in the high country around 10,831 foot
San Jacinto Peak. The high country may be reached
only by horseback or on foot and, combined with the
surrounding U. S. Forest Service lands, provides a true
wilderness experience.
