a pair of Flying Fish
On summer nights the boat "Blanche W,” her 40-
million candlepower searchlight beaming over the
waters, takes visitors from Avalon Bay out along the
shoreline where great schools of Catalina Flying Fish,
aroused by the powerful light, soar into the air and
glide sometimes for over 100 yards!
