The Shirelles, one of the great
rock and roll groups from the
1950's and early 1960's,
continue to perform, and their
songs continue to appear in
new versions by contempor-
ary singers. Among these
classics are: Soldier Boy,
Dedicated To The One I Love,
Foolish Little Girl, Mama Said,
and Baby It's You, one of the all
time great records. They
enjoyed their greatest
success, from November of
1960 to April of 1961 with the
song Will You Love Me
Tomorrow, written and later
recorded by Carol King.
