At the request of the Sonoma Valley Woman's Club the Board of Trustees of Sonoma set aside this day for the purpose of beautifying the plaza. Twenty-eight teams were donated and over one hundred men worked free of charge. Six hundred loads of soil were hauled and the City saved over $500.
