Ensign of Liberty and Peace, was adopted on October 12, 1891,
in Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pa, by the Pan-Republic
or World's Liberty and Peace Committee.
The Late Hon. James G. Blaine, then Secretary of State,
aided in selecting the 300 members of the Committee.
