Series W.C.A. 145 This interesting photograph of the royal families of Europe includes the two big monarchs, whose nations are now at war, as well as other rulers and their consorts. Seated at the left is the late King Edward. Standing directly behind him is Emperor William, the War Lord. Next to him, stands the present Queen Mary of England. On her left is her husband, now King George. King Alphonse of Spain has his arm affectionately thrown about the King's shoulder. Next to King Alphonse is the beautiful Kaiserin, the wife of Emperor William. Seated in front of her is the Czarina of Russia. Standing between her and ex-Queen Amelia of Portugal is Queen Alexandra. |
