A SALUTE TO A SUSPENSION BRIDGE!
By Louis Silverfield
The Golden Gate Bridge is a scenic span
Conceived by the ingenuity of man.
Built to withstand stress and strain,
Howling winds and pelting rain!
Greeting the ships as they pass underneath,
Saying farewell to many a fleet.
A lesson to all mankind-in forming a link,
We grow, we gain, if only we think!
