We hold these Truths...
"Old" Klamath, Ca, was a thriving friendly community when this 1962 aerial
photo was taken. (Courtesy Babe & Larry Crivelli of Terwer, Ca.) Tho this
town had survived numerous floods. . . the 1964 "washed it away." Water
was over the highway on left and the bridge was ruined. The State of
California moved. the highway and rebuilt a "New" Klamath town site
(Shown by the arrow) at the present location. It was a tremendous under-
taking, but results were excellent. . . very modern town, not one power line
above ground and they have their own water and sewage systems.
