LAGOON. The Palace of Education was
designed by W. B. Faville, of San Fran-
cisco, and is of composite Byzantine and
Spanish Renaissance style. It cost $304,263.
The Fine Arts Lagoon seems more attract-
ive with each visit. It has so many moods
that unless seen at all times of the day,
and particularly at night under the illumi-
nations, much is missed.
