The Blue Hole was known years ago as an Indian medicine camp. Depth unknown, source of water underground river or channel. Temperature 48 degrees in winter and summer. It never freezes, is not affected by floods or drought. Discharges 5,000 gallons of water every minute. Fish cannot live in the hole, as it is absolutely free from air or food.
