This is one of the largest and best equipped
navy yards in the country. Can dock the
Leviathan. Contains relics of Revolutionary
War, Second War with Great Britain, Civil and
Spanish-American Wars, Armor from the Mer-
rimac-Virginia, Cumberland, Albemarle; bell
metal from the Raritan (1861); relics of the
Huron (77); Pennsylvania (1861); a stone
shot from Constantinople; Chinese guns from
Tien Tsin (1900); Torpedo from Reina Mer-
cedes ('98); Spanish guns captured at San-
tiago ('98), and many other interesting objects.
