Woodward Ave. Baptist Church situated at th corner of Woodward ave. and Winner Street, is one of the finest examples of church architecture in Detroit. It is built of stone and the suditorium, plan closely after an old cathedral, is an imposing and specious one. Though originally in a residence district the church is now well inside the business portion of the city.
