When traveling on The Olympian you have a chance to step out on the station platform at Mobridge, SD to witness an interesting Sioux Indian Dance. Also, on the station grounds are a pyramid of stone "cannon balls" and the "Conqueror's Stone". This region is rich in Indian lore. Just north of Mobridge is Ashley Island.
