LISTENING TO THE STARS
Located in a remote section of the Owens Valley,
south of Bishop, California. Two gleaming
reflectors constantly scan the sky, listening for
signals from far
from far out in space. These are
radio telescopes - complementing the work of
astronomers on Mt. Wilson near Pasadena and
Palomar Mountain near San Diego. This is
project of California Institute of Technology.
