DIABLO INCLINE RAILWAY -
SKAGIT HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT
This incline railway, driven by a 400-horsepower elec-
tric motor and with a lifting capacity of 158,000
pounds, lifted all the materials and equipment for
Ross Dam and Powerhouse 313 feet up the mountain-
side to the level of Diablo Lake.
