SULPHURIC ACID, Copper Basin, near Copper-
hill, Tenn. The Tennessee Copper Company has
a series of contact plants in the Basin producing
strong sulphuric acid for use in manufacturing
synthetic textile fibers, plastics, and other chemi-
cal products.
