The Point Stadium in downtown Johnstown, PA was
built in 1924. The 10,000-seat facility, owned by the
City of Johnstown, was renovated in 1996. The
stadium takes its name from the two rivers that
converge behind it - the Stonycreek and the Little
Conemaugh rivers meet to form the Conemaugh
River. The Point is the home of the Johnstown
Johnnies, an independent baseball team in the
Frontier League. (JT6)
