engine production airplane-has a top speed of 223 miles per
hour, cruises at 213 mph, climbs 1600 feet per minute from
sea level. Outstanding high altitude performance provides 206
mph cruise at 12,000', 197 mph at 16,000'. With total 130-
gallon fuel capacity, range is over 1700 miles. Comanche 400
is powered by an eight-cylinder, 400 hp Lycoming engine with
Bendix fuel injection. Super soundproofing assures exception-
