Grapefruit are picked in commercial quantities
by experienced pickers, but any person who visits
the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas from
October to May may pick his own grapefruit and
oranges. Actual laboratory tests show the Texas
fruit to have the highest juice and sugar content
of any grown in America.
