Additional Details:
Lodge and Entrance, Grosvenor Park, Chester. The Lodge is built in the half-timbered style, for which Chester is so famous. The woodwork is of oak, and on the gables are carved figures of William the Conqueror and the seven Norman Earls of Chester, with their arms and monograms below. Our view shows one of the avenues of magnificent Hollies and the monument of the second Marquis of Westminster, who presented the Park to the City in 1867.
