The first U.S. Post Office in CHRISTMAS, MICHIGAN is also headquarters for Gifts from Old St. Nick's, featuring unique gift items. Located on M-28, across the channel from Grand Is- land, this community (established in 1940) received their postmark on July 8, 1966, and First Day of Issue Christmas stamps on November 1.
