Originally the figurehead of the U. S. S. Delaware, the bust of the Indian chief is a good luck charm of the midshipmen, who loss pennies orbit for luck. For special occasion like the Navy Army game, it is decorated with warpoint; during the rest of the year, it stands in its natural stone-grey.
