The famous Rockville Bridge of the Pennsylvania Railroad can be seen from the front porch of the Fort Hunter Hotel. This modernized hotel is located in the area o Hunters Mill (1720). This mill later became known as Fort Hunter (1735) and was second in importance to Fort Harris (Harrisburg) against Indian uprisings.
