NORFOLK HARBOR. Norfolk is the largest port on
the Atlantic coast south of Philadelphia, it being the terminus
for about twenty steamship lines, connecting with almost every
country. Approaching the harbor one may see beautiful vessels
afloat, interesting docks along the wharf, picturesque architect-
ure, spires, domes, and towers and pinnacles in the distance.
