The far-famed shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupré or La Bonne
Ste. Anne, as it is called and where the Basilica was destroyed
on March 30, 1922, is the Mecca of thousands upon thousands
of devout pilgrims and interested visitors who gather there every
summer for either religious devotions, or to inspect the vast and
valuable collection of treasures as well as mementos of cures
wrought to afflicted humanity. A temporary church has been
constructed.
