LANDSCAPE, AUDUBON PARK.
Audubon Park is a beautiful park of 247 acres,
situated in the upper part of the city. The St.
Charles Ave. Belt cars takes the visitor to the St.
Charles Ave. entrance, which admits him to a
large tract from which many magnificent live oaks
were sacrificed in 1884 to allow the erection
of the building of the World's Cotton Exposition.
All the buildings have been removed, except
Horticultural Hall, which shows in picture. (See
Lipsher card. "Interior Horticultural Hall.'')
