This massive station serves as travel headquarters for passengers on the Union Pacific Railroad, road fo the Streamliners and Challengers. This is the railroad Lincoln planned for national defense. It is now the strategic middle route. The Salt Lake City station contains handsome murals of the "Driving of the Golden Spike" and the arrival of the "Mormon" pioneers.
