Erected in 1743. (So substantial that it may stand for another two hundred years.) Here John Adams, Otis, Quincy, Warren, Cushing, Hancock and other patriots made the first opposition to royal authority. In 1770 the "Boston Massacre" took place in front of the building. From this balcony Washington reviewed his troops after British evacuation, and from here the Declaration of Independence was read to the Bostonians. Here in Boston we are building the substantial business of "Austin of Boston." You know the lines we excel on. Will be pleased to serve you
