Tama 4. One of the 500 descendants of the Sac and
Fox Indians (Mesquakies), Tama County, on Highway
30, west of Tama, lowa. The Indians purchased
3,600 acres of land, held in the name of the tribe.
In August the tribe holds a colorful Pow Wow
enjoyed by visitors from far and wide.
