A MAMMOTH MILL: McGregorville is a part of
the city of Manchester, N. H., which has grown up in the past
20 years on the west side of the Merrimac River opposite the
main plant of the Amoskeag Company. Mill No. 11, the
largest cotton mill in the world, is located here. It is a wear-
ing-mill exclusively, with 4,000 looms on 404,498 square feet
of floor space. The new print mill also of the Amoskeag
Company now exceeds No. 11 in size, having 535,079 square
feet of floor space. 32.
