DUN LAOGHAIRE, CO. DUBLIN: Dun Laoghaire,
8 miles south of Dublin City is beautifully
situated at the southern end of Dublin Bay. Its
spacious and important harbour is the terminus
for the mail boats from Holyhead. The town's
many splendid buildings are set against a well
wooded background which in turn gives way to
some really impressive mountain scenery beyond.
The People's Park, nicely laid out with shrubs and
flower-beds is but one of the town's attractive
open-spaces.
